Physician - DLG SpineWand
DLG SpineWand Surgical Device:
Designed for use in the lumbar spine where longer access is required, the DLG SpineWand uses Coblation technology
to remove tissue to create channels within the nucleus of the intervertebral disc.
The effect of tissue removal from within the disc is hydraulic decompression of
the disc.
The DLG device is a single-patient use disposable medical device. It can
not be re-sterilized or re-used.
The DLG comes in a 'Convenience Pack', which includes
the SpineWand, a 17 gauge introducer needle for minimally invasive access into the
disc and the Instructions For Use.
The DLG SpineWand is configured for use with
the ArthroCare System 2000 generator. To perform the procedure using the DLG SpineWand,
the physician will need the DLG Convenience Pack, the System 2000 generator, a sterile
patient cable, and a foot or hand-controller.
